Combo Meter
A combo counter that drains while you watch, so every hit is relief as much as reward: landing one refills the bar, pops the numeral, and steps the multiplier at fixed thresholds — which shortens the fuse. Let it empty and the combo shatters, the panel cools, and your best score stays on screen as the reason to go again.
